Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans



INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup chocolate (chips or a bar broken into pieces)

  • 1 cup Avenidas coffee beans

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Fill a small pot 1/4 the way with water and bring to a simmer

  2. Place a metal bowl on top (or use a double boiler instead)

  3. Add chocolate

  4. Stir continuously until melted

  5. Remove bowl from heat

  6. Add coffee beans

  7. Stir until coated

  8. Lay down a large piece of parchment paper on work surface

  9. Pick out individual beans or small clusters and place on parchment paper

  10. Let dry for at least 1 hour before serving

  11. Store remaining chocolate covered beans in an airtight container in the refrigerator!
